update

I'm adding photos to show some of the problem areas on the Chevy.

The left quarter panel has rust over and inside the wheel opening.

The right quarter panel has been replaced with half panels that meet over the rear wheel opening but were not properly welded because there is a crack where they meet. We could grind the body filler out and reweld them and just put patches in the left side, but instead we are going to replace both quarter panels completely.

My 1962 Chevy Impala

In August of this past year I purchased a 1962 Impala, it looked good, but there was some minor rust and areas that could be improved. We will take it apart, replace some panels and repaint. My plan is to follow the progress with descriptions and pictures.
